Internal Title: Product Designer

We are looking for a Senior UI Designer to join our Customer Domain supporting Product Designers and working closely with Frontend Developers and our Design System team. 

If you are an experienced UI Designer with a strong design understanding, a great eye for details and honed ability to execute to a high level of aesthetics, this will be an amazing next challenge for you!

You will be joining a rapidly growing and diverse team of talented and passionate Experience Designers and will work tightly integrated with cross-functional product teams. You will also collaborate with stakeholders across the business impacting product decisions across H&M, COS, Arket, Weekday, Monki and more, with your design craft, empathy and customer-focused mindset.  
 

What You Will Do  

As a key contributor to our product success, you champion and conceptualize beautiful visual styles that brings our brand identities to life in our digital products with a focus on cohesion, scalability, usability and accessibility. Other important parts of the role are: 

• As a Senior UI Designer, you will be responsible for delivering visual coherent and beautiful user interfaces mobile, web and other digital surfaces that will delight and impress our customers. 
   

• Support the Product Designers to ensure their individual deliveries look part of a whole by bringing typography, iconography, grids, colors and visual hierarchy together to great experience people love to use. 
   

• Work in close collaboration with our Design System team and you will be responsible for adopting patterns and components into your product area as well as promoting UI innovations your area create, back into the Design System. 
   

• Balance the brand-specific design elements with more generic cross-brand designs transactional design patterns using best practices that suit the needs of the customers. 
   

• Produce high-fidelity and professional design components including motion, transition and animation patterns with the Frontend Engineers in mind as consumers of your deliverables. 

Your Mindset & Skills  

• 5+ years of experience with delivering consistently high qulity visual and user interface design.  

• Experience working with design systems, pattern libraries and UI guidelines. 

• Passionate about understanding the users’ needs, motivations, behaviors and are able to translate them into actionable, scalable deliverables. 

• Strong visual thinker with a passion for details. 

• A strong understanding of brand identities and how they translate to product interfaces. 

• Excellent communicator with solid analytical thinking and problem-solving capability. 

• Engaged, open minded and ambitious team player willing to share and learn experienced in operating in matrix organizations and in an agile project methodology.
