Responsible for managing IT UX/UI projects which cut across different IT departments

Leads the local IT Business Unit in the provision of structure, consolidation, and analysis of UI/UX methodologies, development of basic assumptions and data points and ensuring that assignments are aided by UX best practices as well as established procedures, practices, and department or relevant team coordinators for both local and Group IT in pursuit of local IT Business Unit objectives and targets, including but not limited to:

  • Set up of UI/UX Digital Assurance Framework for the organization.

  • Process creation, enablement and implementation of usability testing that meet the desired business outcome or business/project objective of the design

  • Leading Local IT’s UX Design partners to deliver UI/UX activities aligning to both Group IT and local IT business and project objectives

Applies knowledge of / experience in marketing, cognitive science, psychology, economics or information science, with a solid understanding of user experience design, and fluency in user-centered design best practices

Employs knowledge of industry tools including but not limited to Presentation programs (Keynote, PowerPoint); UX design programs (Sketch, Adobe); analytics tracking tools (Google Analytics, etc.)

Works closely with HCD teams and various local business unit departments using excellent communication skills with high empathy for the user

Interprets data and qualitative feedback and creates user stories, personas, and storyboards

Determines and creates information architecture, sitemaps, prototypes, and wireframes

Establishes and maintains an effective and well-documented UX Research & Design processes and knowledge management database using best practices, including process improvements/innovations utilizing appropriate models & methodologies that drive process efficiency in pursuit of local IT Business Unit's objectives and targets.
