As Internal Sales Manager for the UK&I Internal Platinum Team, you’ll lead a
high performing team of approximately 8 internal sales representatives.
Targeted at over $500m revenue per year, you’ll deliver success through best
in class partner business plans and collaboration through Lenovo departments.
You’ll ensure performance metrics are met in weekly & quarterly execution and
together with the Platinum Sales Manager own the relationships with over 50
Platinum partners.
These are your detailed responsibilities:
Internal Sales Manager
• Accountable for annual targets averaging over $500m (All Rev) and circa
$200m (Topseller) per year across UK and Ireland
• Quarterly account targeting reviews, helping to set targets for each account
and team member
• Work closely and align with the Distribution Account Management Team and
ensure team focus is on maximising use of inventory
• Support Platinum external sales team to manage quarterly opportunity
pipeline and report accurately into the SISO (Sales In Sales Out) review
process
• Driving weekly BMS reviews with the Platinum Sales Teams
• Maximize Share of Wallet across all Business Partners understanding white
space opportunity
• Maximise team productivity by partner and coverage
• Leverage promotions, incentive programs, offers and manage the strategic
direction through the team
• Organising adhoc Sales Incentive days to help drive relevant sales out
• Ensure sales tools are widely used on sales floor
• Maximize share of voice & presence across organisation
• Co-marketing Budget management and Marketing plans by partner
• Support setting the annual conditions with the company top accounts
Team Manager
• Develop and manage development plans for team members including regular
sales coaching
• Lead employees to meet the organisation's expectations for sales results,
productivity, quality, reporting and goal accomplishment
• Develop a disciplined business management system and lead your organisation
according to Channel KPIs and metrics for regular measurement, tracking and
evaluation
• Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the
performance of the team
Other responsibilities
• Be the expert in internal systems, processes and procedures
• Ensure customer data is accurate and all data transfers are completed per
campaign schedule
• Provide support to internal customer service team on sales/customer service
cross sell efforts
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and business analysis
• Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable,
justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organisation policies and
procedures
• Agility to implement strategies to ensure Lenovo’s best in class
differentiation in Channel
Organization
You will report to Jane Ashworth SMB and Channel Sales Director UK&I. You will
participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and meetings.
#### Position Requirements:
• Proven track record of leading Channel Sales teams either in Internal or
External environment
• 3-5 years management experience
• Proactive Manager who removes barriers and obstacles to ensure efficiency
and optimal performance of their team
• Assertive personality with good analytical skills to lead a disciplined
business management system
• Strong leadership skills to influence and secure cooperation from internal
departments and outside suppliers to ensure that campaigns are managed
profitably and effectively
• Good knowledge of Channel Sales organisation and Strategy
• Excellent IT skills particularly Excel and Microsoft Dynamics
• Strong presentation skills and financial/analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English
• High comfort-level working in a global, diverse environment
