As Channel Senior Sales Manager you will directly manage a team of Channel Sales professionals located across United Kingdom. This is a true sales management role, required to achieve and exceed growth targets and new business targets. Your detailed responsibilities are: • Creation of a channel and distribution growth plan for UKI that delivers multiple times growth YY • Timely KPI setting for all channel sales makers that deliver growth against company targets • People management responsibilities, business objective setting, coaching, performance feedback & regular assessment • In addition to people management responsibilities, the role will have responsibility for channel resource, coverage and capacity planning • Ensures partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations are achieved and met and manages the overall channel health for UKI Channel and distribution. • Meets and exceeds assigned performance targets for profitable sales growth and solution objectives in assigned partner accounts • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship • Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements and programmes and sells through partners and distribution organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources • Drives execution of company programs among Data Center Group (DCG) channel partners • Build and support training programmes /skill enablement in order to develop and support the DCG business – working closely with local and international enablement teams to land both certification requirements as well as broader business enablement requirements • Proactively recruits new qualifying partners to meet KPIs for growth • Conduct regular business planning reviews to deliver the growth plans in each partner, generate and coordinate solutions with other functions or team members to solve complex problems • Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings You will report to Country General Manager for UKI,  supporting customers in UKI.  You will participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and meetings. #### Position Requirements: What You will bring: • Minimum of 12 years of sales experiencewith 5 years in channel sales management with track record of success selling to and through channel partners and distributors • 5 years sales experience in the Enterprise Data Center market • Proven ability to sell Data Center solutions consisting of servers, storage, and networking devices including the supporting management software and services. • Understanding of the core technologies, industry trends, and workloads shaping the Enterprise Data Center market including Cloud, Converged Systems, and Analytics. • Leadership capabilities and ability to mentor and motivate local and remote sales representatives • Able to align people and influence decision making, effectively working in a matrix • MS Office and sales CRM solutions knowledge (e.g. Salesforce.com). • Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace What Lenovo can offer you: • An exciting job with great opportunities for success • A good potential to grow both professionally and personally • You will be a part of the Number 1 PC vendor in the world. • Very nice and stimulating office environment • Performance based rewards • Flexibility and working from home Lenovo is an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
