You’ll work alongside all our Channel Sales teams and Partner Community to encourage growth in our displays (visuals) business. As the Specialist in this discipline, you will be the go- to Person for all things Visuals. You will work extensively with our; Technologists, Channel Sales Team, Marketing and EMEA Product Management Teams to develop a winning go to market strategy. Recognised as the technology evangelist, a strong in-depth understanding of a commercial channel sales mode, competitive products/propositions and software applications is a pre-requisite. Strong sales experience, coupled with a deep understanding of the technology is also essential to • Drive Profitable Channel Growth • Own and deliver on Key Business Metrics • Utilize CX Level Relationships to Contribute to the Joint Business planning of key strategic partners These are your detailed responsibilities: • Creation and Ownership of the Visuals Channel Go To Market Strategy • Co-ordinate with key stakeholders to sync programmes and quarterly product campaigns • Establish ‘trusted advisor’ status with new and existing customers and Partners • Ownership of key channel business metrics (Aged Inventory, WOI, GP, MS) • Alignment with finance on tactical spend and profit contribution • Deliver best in class online execution • Sync with product teams and Distribution to maximise supply and availability for sales • Deliver updates/reviews in-line with quarterly/weekly sales and forecasting cadence • Build relationships via online and face to face partner visitation • Drive marketing activities to stimulate interest and broaden Lenovo’s reach in new markets and customers • Maintain a high level of market and industry knowledge and offer business feedback to maximise opportunities • Create material to grow the understanding and capability of the Channel sales community • Differentiate Lenovo from the competition • Provide Business analysis on market segments, route to market and product opportunities • Contribute towards Joint Business Planning to maximise share within key strategic partners and influence within Quarterly Business Reviews We are looking for a proven, highly motivated, and successful business development manager. #### Position Requirements: You’ll have: • Significant experience in Business Development • 5+ years’ experience in Sales Roles with PC Industry knowledge preferable • Complete understanding of a Channel Sales Model • Superior problem solving & analytical skills, metric driven with strong business acumen • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong customer presentation skills both face to face and online • Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills • Systematic, persistent and efficient when managing both time and accounts. • Use interactive tools including chat, forums, email, monitoring and other web based social media to exceed customer expectations. • Ability to carry a quota and overachieve month over month Behaviour & Work Attitude • Entrepreneurial Mind-set with self-starting capability - Can do attitude • Desire and ability to provide an outstanding customer experience and go the extra mile in everything you do • Problem solver and decision-maker • Prioritise customer focus, able to work under pressure from Partners and customers • Able to align people and influence decision making, effectively working in a matrix • Collaborative working style and high commitment to get the job done Key Interactions: • Sales Organisation across all Business Areas • UK&IRE Product (4P) team • EMEA Visuals Business Unit • UK&IRE Sales & Marketing Management What We Will Offer You: • An open and stimulating environment within one of the most forward-thinking IT companies • Flat structures and fast decision-making processes • A modern and flexible way of working to combine personal and professional life, working from home • An international team with a high focus on Gender Diversity • Attractive compensation package We are looking forward to discussing this position with you soon!
