The Microsoft One Commercial Partner (OCP) organization plays a critical role in Microsoft’s cloud growth by helping partners: build solutions on the Microsoft cloud; acquire new cloud customers; and Co-sell with Microsoft sales teams. At the center of OCP is the Go-To-Market (GTM) Team, which is responsible for driving new and innovative Go-To-Market strategies with Microsoft’s top partners. Become instrumental in building the best partner ecosystem in the industry by becoming an integral part of Microsoft’s future. 

Responsibilities

As the US OCP GTM Communications & RoB Manager, you will be accountable for -

  • Led External & Internal Executive Communications:
    • Lead GTM VP communications (e.g. org comms, Partner communities, ad-hoc)
    • Create and manage content for GTM VP presence on social media & monthly blog post series on the Microsoft Partner Network
    • Create and manage content for US OCP to Field Segment/OU Seller roles, to showcase the value of Partners & GTM Programs with our Field Sellers

 

  • Program Mgmt. of GTM VP‘s Partner Engagement & Channel Representation
    • Readiness and follow-up for GTM VP engagement with Partner (meetings, EBCs, Field Visits) working with PMAs/PDMs
    • Readiness and follow-up for GTM VP engagement with Field/OU engagements
    • Develop & Manage engagements for Channel associations/bodies (e.g. CRN, Women in Cloud)

 

  • Program Mgmt. of Rhythm of Business & Annual Planning
    • Manage overall ROB for US OCP GTM team, integrating with US OCP, WW OCP & MSUS ROB leads
    • Readiness for OCP MBRs (Monthly Business Reviews) and QBCs (Quarterly Business Connections) delivering the overall workback, template and communicating to the US OCP GTM LT
    • Program Mgmt. of planning process (annual & quarterly check-ins) for US OCP, developing and communicating overall workback and planning template to land the plan for the plan

 

  • Lead GTM People Programs
    • Drive content & communications for US OCP GTM all-hands, Annual Team Summit, GTM Listening Hour
    • Lead development of executive-level internal communications around new hires, leadership moments and program launch
    • Manage designer (vendor resource) for US OCP, ensuring optimized use of resource and tracking overall budget

 

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in Communications or Program Management
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and directed, requiring minimal supervision.  
  • Executive maturity, organizational agility and impact and influence competencies.  
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to work effectively across groups (business and functions) in a fast-paced work environment.  
  • Effective at influencing without authority and driving work through others.  
  • Proven ability to create clarity, generate energy and deliver success
