Here is a link to more information about our markets: THE POSITION Reporting to Brian Brickhouse, President - Electrical Sector Americas, the President – Electrical Solutions and Services Group will be responsible for leading a $3.4B P&L. This role will have direct oversight of the Electrical Solutions and Services Group strategic plan for manufacturing, business development, sales performance, market development, and customer management. This leader will be a highly visible and critical champion in driving organic growth in the base business as well as in the digital and energy transition space. The role is based in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. The President will develop and execute initiatives to drive top line revenue growth and profitability. This role will require a thought leader who will provide key observations and ideas, as well as be an outspoken advocate in identifying both risk and opportunities for the organization. This position will be a critical member of the Electrical Sector Americas Executive Leadership team charged with taking the business to the next level by ensuring growth through a variety of progressive power management solutions in the Data Center and Utility segments. This position will be an executive partner with the COO Electrical Sector to ensure growth and maximize profitability on these key segment growth initiatives. This role will have a significant emphasis on front end negotiations of agreements with strategic partnerships and key customers with a focus on new business solutions. He/she will work very closely with engineering and other key functional partners across all regions to accelerate our technology focus on key segments. Other key responsibilities include: Achieves or exceeds profit plans by developing and executing strategies for manufacturing profit improvement, effective launch of new products and programs, and managing the budget to ensure that operational and financial goals are met or exceeded. Leads strategic alliances and partnerships internally and with external organizations to support aggressive market development and growth. Leverages regional teams to ensure that product, market-based and customer strategies are driven across the region and product line segments. Builds organizational capability and morale within the team by developing both internal talent and attracting external talent to the organization to drive the desired culture. Qualifications Eaton is seeking an exceptionally talented and dynamic P&L executive with excellent leadership skills, and a proven and successful demonstrated track record of growing and transforming businesses in the face of ever-changing market conditions. This leader will be a passionate visionary with growth, technology, commercial, and operations capabilities, along with an effective interpersonal style and “hands- on” approach, enabling them to interact efficiently across multiple plants and locations as well as with global support partners. He/she should have at least 15 years of experience in a multi-national, high mix, multi-channel, matrixed manufacturing organization. This leader will have direct experience running a full P&L for a business that is at minimum $1B in revenue. He/she will have a proven and successful background in front-end customer negotiations and partnerships, as well as demonstrated a career path with significant accomplishments and increasing levels of responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading a complex business in the electrical industry. He/she should possess strong leadership communications, interpersonal, and motivational skills along with excellent business and financial acumen, executive presence, and the ability to lead multiple diverse locations. EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, or related discipline is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
