As a UX Designer you will join a team of motivated designers committed to driving Siemens vision in the domain of industrial automation. You will be contributing to the definition, design, and delivery of large-scoped features and complex initiatives/new products. You will be in a unique position to shape the user experience and design of pioneering technologies that will define the future of industrial automation. You’ll be collaborating with product owners and engineers from concept to launch. You will be a strong systems thinker, crafting the user experience, interaction design using guidelines to promote a unified design language across all touchpoints. What are my responsibilities Working closely with the business unit, you will be responsible for the experience design for innovative software solutions (web and mobile) in the field of industrial automation, in particular to support process automation workflows You will support all phases of the user-centered design process, from developing a strategy and vision through to final product development You will represent the needs of users to various stakeholders in their respective project teams and beyond You will understand the needs of different user groups and translate them into user journey maps and product requirements You will develop product concepts for a variety of projects and visualize your concepts using low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes (e.g. with Adobe XD or Axure), which you will refine with users and internal stakeholder. You will be a strong advocate of great product design by ensuring solutions set high visual and interaction design quality standards in alignment with our common design language. Skills, Experience and Competencies required for this job? A portfolio demonstrating successful design of products, features, experiences with a strong expertise in applying Interaction design patterns and visual design principles/methods. Sound knowledge of user centered design. Strong communication skills to communicate product concepts and decision-making processes Familiarity with user research practices and ability to translate insights into actionable requirements Experience with creating and documenting user flows, task analysis, information architecture and developing user scenario Experience at working directly with software developers Experience with UX in agile projects Bachelor's or master's degree in interaction design, industrial design, product design, service design, human-computer interaction, or equivalent experience Proficiency in industry standard design software (Adobe CC – Illustrator, XD…) Experience with building, contributing, or working with design systems and ability to meaningfully extend existing guidelines to scale products.
