We are a new function within Siemens Corporate IT organization. We’re here to drive the adoption of user centric design across IT and Siemens business units. We need a UX Evangelist help us do this. This is a senior position. We need you to be able to explain and sell UX concepts and benefits at all levels and to drive a coherent transformation of our product development culture and processes. Siemens is a global organization and as such the people you work with are also based around the world. This is your role. You’ll need to be able to fluidly explain and sell the concepts and benefits of UX to senior stakeholders, and sometimes to delivery roles such as product owner and developers so your ability to adapt your pitch to each target audience is a must. One UX! You will lead in building and maintaining a network of key stakeholders and influencers across our company so that we have an aligned approach and we are able to share our work and reuse the work of others. There is a huge talented design community at Siemens. We’re connected but we need to find even more ways to capitalise our collective experience and knowledge to grow a unified design strategy with common of practices and extended sharing of capability, knowledge, and design resources. You’ll need to guide the leaders of internal and external IT teams in their adoption of User Centric Design principles, mind-set, frameworks, approaches, practices, and tools. They need to understand the costs and impacts You’ll need to be able to coach, mentor and train people to impart your knowledge and experience to others. Inspire, motivate, and energize those you work with. Use your skills to move the world forward. You have successfully completed university degree in Information Technology or similar A solid basis in UX Design, you will be the leading authority of UX for our organization and so we expect you will have worked in a similar role in the past or be fully ready to make the move to this role. You will need a deep knowledge of UX and a catalogue of experiences, plus many years of experience working at a digital agency and/or in an in-house UX team. Proven experience in leading a User Centric Design transformation initiative. Aptitude to work in a large corporate organization, with diverse structures and stakeholder groups. Problem solver that does not accept the ‘status quo’. Business (contract and negotiation) fluent in English We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
