Senior UX/UI Designer

BCGDV is working on a new digital offering that is part of a medtech healthcare company’s digital innovation business unit. This business unit will focus on creating new digital products and platforms that transform the lives of patients. Digital Neurology will be the first product within this digital innovation unit. This product will be a next generation digital platform aimed at a neurological disorder to empower patients to better understand their condition, have better conversations with their doctor and ultimately achieve better health outcomes. The new venture has plans to grow aggressively to engage patient and health care professionals, with an initial focus in the US market. The business will scale aggressively in the next few years, and will be based in London, England.

We are looking for a Senior UX and UI Designers to be part of the team.

Roles & Responsibilities UX

• Understand the strategic and product roadmap, and scope design sprints around key goals
• Prototype new features and flows for user testing and build
• Collaborate with the Design Lead to define research goals, collect insights, and translate them into the product
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure quality and timely execution of design work into live product
• Communicate design changes and rational to senior stakeholders
• Regularly demo new features and flows to senior stakeholders
• Up to date about the latest design tools, processes, and trends
• Hands on delivery of concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, system maps, user flows, wireframes, visual design comps, and prototypes

Roles & Responsibilities UI

• Create innovative user interfaces, paying close attention to information architecture and interaction design
• Create interactive prototypes that illustrate your UI design to a fidelity that can be validated with users
• Help develop the company’s brand identity
• Produce quality visual design output for the product IOS and Android app
• Work closely with Design Lead to explore new features and flows
• Maintain and iterate the UI design system
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure quality and timely execution of UI into live product
• Creating prototypes exploring and documenting new features and flows for both user testing and key development work
• Communicate design changes and rational to senior stakeholders
• Regularly demo new features and flows to senior stakeholders
• Support user research and provide design recommendations in both written and visual format based on findings 

Background

• Several years prior experience in UX/UI design
• Deep subject matter expertise in research and testing techniques and able to discern which practice to use for which activity
• Proven experience delivering concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, etc
• Outstanding portfolio of prior work that demonstrates strong user-cantered design capabilities across a range of different projects or products
• Experience in startup and agile environments
• Advanced prototyping abilities with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Marvel and InVision

Experience working alongside product managers and engineers in cross functional teams a strong plus
