This could be your everyday

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. At Amgen, we know our differences lead to better science. We are committed to fostering a culture of belonging where diversity is celebrated, and inclusion is the norm. This is central to our ability to thrive, and is essential to operate as a team, to best serve our patients and to reduce inequities globally. We approach this on-going, important work by drawing inspiration from science, where continuous learning builds knowledge over time to drive discovery and innovation and ultimately create profound change.

As our diversity, inclusion and belonging efforts continue to expand at Amgen, we are excited to bring onboard an R&D Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (“DI&B”) intern into our team via our Summer 2022 internship program. What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Collaboration with the DI&B core team, senior leadership, diversity council leads, and champions to drive process and program improvements in the DI&B space

  • Implementation of strategies for retaining, engaging, and promoting diverse talent

  • Partnership with the R&D DI&B core team to push forward our DI&B learning strategy to staff across the globe

  • Thought partner to our DI&B leadership team – thinking outside the box and helping to drive innovative ideas

  • Improving engagement and impact with core partnerships in STEM academic entities and other external groups, enabling authentic relationship-building with diverse talent

  • Support diversity programs and events that drive Amgen's DI&B strategy and goals
