Job Description

Are you passionate about learning new technologies? Do you know that your learning experience could help millions of newcomers when you document your feedbacks? If so, the Super Compute Solution Architect and Support team would like to meet you.

In this role you will learn
Intel's GPU technologies to include both HW and SW programming.  Not only will you develop hands-on experience on the latest Intel GPU hardware, but you will also learn how to program and optimize codes using Intel GPUs as lightning-fast accelerators.

This is a great opportunity for the curious mind. As an Undergraduate Intern - GPU UX and DX throughout your learning process, you will document your experience and identify the logical leaps in the product documents and training materials.  The ideal candidate would be a Senior Computer Science Undergraduate Student who has a track record of developing mini projects that use a variety of technologies to solve real life problems.

The selected candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:   

  • Putting together the Intel GPU based development machine from scratch

  • Research using Intel’s community forums and consolidate common questions together in to improvement suggestions

Behavioral Skills Sought:

  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to present to audiences of varying seniority

The expectation is not that the candidate knows everything. We are looking for an enthusiastic student who will help improve the User and Developer experience. For students who have prior teaching experience and can foresee potential questions from junior students, we would love to integrate your feedback to our products.

Ability to commit to 6 to 9 months Internship


Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

An Undergraduate Computer Science major (3rd or 4th year) and 3+ months experience in one, or more of the following areas noted below:

  • Programming languages experience such as  C, C++, Python, Java etc.

  • Developing applications on both Windows and Linux

  • Hands-on experience on setting up computers from scratch

  • Developing performance optimized computing solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on knowledge on Intel oneAPI software knowledge, e.g. Intel DPC++, Vtune etc.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
