Job Description: University Counsellor (UK Focus)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced University Counsellor to guide and support our students in their applications to leading universities worldwide, with a specialized focus on the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will be an expert in the UK higher education system.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert, one-on-one counselling to students and parents on mainly UK university selection, application procedures, and deadline management.

Offer specialized guidance for competitive applications to top universities, particularly the University of Oxford and University of Cambridge, including support for admissions tests .

Advise students on crafting compelling and authentic personal statements, ensuring they meet the specific requirements and expectations of admissions tutors.

Manage the submission of applications through the UCAS system and coordinate school reference and predicted grade submissions.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with university admissions offices to stay current on entry requirements and trends.

Organize and lead workshops and information sessions for students and parents on the university application process.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or higher; a relevant qualification in Counselling or Education is an advantage.

Substantial experience in university counselling, with a demonstrable specialty in university placements.

In-depth knowledge of the UK higher education landscape&application process

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Fluency in English is essential.
