Who Are We?
The Northwest University for Nationalities (NWUN) 西北民族大学is a leading university in the city of Lanzhou. NWUN is home to 56 different nationalities and over 29,000 full time students. Find a map of China and you’ll see Lanzhou in the geographical centre of the country along the old Silk Road. Lanzhou is famous for more than just Lanzhou la mian as our city is steeped in history and rich in culture. Our students come from many of the major ethnic minority groups including the Tibetan, Uyghur, Hui, Mongol people groups.

Who Are We Looking for?
The ideal person will have a passion for teaching and a love for helping students. You should have an undergraduate degree, a teaching certificate (CELTA/TESL/TEFL) and at least two years of teaching experience. Some positions will require a Master’s degree or higher. Position will begin in September 2015.

What Will You Teach?
For English, you will help students develop their communications skills in English.
In addition, we are looking for teachers for our American curriculum program for Academic English, Writing, Oral Presentation and Critical Thinking.

What We Have to Offer:
Our compensation package includes a base salary of 5,200 to 6,000 RMB per month, a furnished apartment, and a return flight from your home country to Lanzhou. Plus, we will offer you a travel allowance, so you can explore the exciting sights of China during your holidays.
