1. This is a one-year contract position located at Shangluo universities in Shaanxi province, China.
2. This English teacher position will be responsible to teach college level English as a second language. You will have 12 and up to 16 classes per week with 50 minutes each session. There is no office hour.
3. The students are grouped not by their English level but by majors, therefore students within one class are at different level.
4. There are no existing syllabus specifically designed, however textbook will be provided.
5. The contract covers two semesters. Autumn term starts from beginning of September and finishes in February the following year; spring term starts February and finishes at the end of June.
6. Teachers will also design test, coursework or exam, and grade all students at the end of each semester.
7. 1 year contract with 11 months payment and all teachers have days off on public holidays in China although there might be make up class for some of the classes missed in public holidays.
Monthly salary 13000 to 18000 RMB per month depends on experience, qualification and teaching hours.
12 to 16 classes (50minute session) per week, extra hours are available.
