China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT) is listed in the national “211 Project” and “985 Innovation Platform for Advantageous Disciplines”. CUMT covers an area of 297 hectares, including two campuses in Xuzhou with shuttle busses running in between: Wenchang campus covers an area of 107 hectares with a profusion of vegetation and surrounded by busy commercial blocks; Nanhu campus, as the main campus, covers an area of 190 hectares and is adjacent to the Yunlong Lake Scenic Area.
CUMT is located in Xuzhou city, Jiangsu Province, which is known as, and enjoys a convenient transportation hub in highway, railway, waterways and aviation. The Xuzhou Guanyin airport handles over 20 flight paths including those to Hong Kong, Macau, Seoul and Bangkok. The Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Railway brings Xuzhou into the 2-hour economic radius of the two mega-cities.
The role of the German Teacher is to:
- 14-18 class hours per week
- Undergraduate students oriented
- Teaching German speaking, writing, culture and literature, etc.
