University Relations: Recruiting Specialist

Eaton is seeking an Early Talent, Recruiting Specialist to join our team! This role will be based in Beachwood, OH.

Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the University Relations Manager, and a part of the Eaton Early Talent COE, the University Relations Recruiting Specialist will partner with campus managers and field customers to own the front end of the campus recruiting and candidate experience with Eaton for Intern, Co-Op and full-time early talent roles. The incumbent will be a member of the Early Talent Programs COE which is responsible for all Early Talent programs within the U.S. and supports Eaton’s growth strategy by ensuring a high-quality, diverse, sustainable pipeline of talent to meet current and future business needs.

Essential Functions:

  • Partner with the Campus Managers for the initial processing of new applicants to all Early Talent program requisitions. Assess talent and calibrate to Eaton’s hiring standards and program qualifications
  • Review candidates from all annual national diversity conferences to ensure best potential candidates are forwarded to Campus Managers for immediate interview consideration
  • Responsible for creating and posting new early talent requisitions annually
  • Partner with the Campus Managers to ensure all early talent program requisitions are successfully posted to all necessary university career sites
  • Process candidates after on campus, virtual and second round interviews
  • Assist Campus Managers and Early Talent Program Managers in managing candidates through offer processing
  • Partner with Campus Managers to ensure all data for on campus and virtual recruiting events is collected and created in internal event scheduling platform
  • Assist Campus Managers in creating and upkeep of presentation content for on campus/virtual events
  • Act as a recruiting strategic partner, partner with local hiring managers outside of the Early Talent programs and Global Back Office team to ensure the process of identifying, recruiting, and screening potential candidates for SB95 roles is managed efficiently
  • Assist in preparing and training talent scout population for campus recruiting events
  • Attend and participate in campus recruiting events as needed

Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices.   The annual salary range for this role is $61,680 - $84,810 a year

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of full-time work experience in a business, talent acquisition or human resources environment
  • Ability to work in the US on a permanent basis without company sponsorship

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in HR, talent acquisition, early talent, or university career services Experience in a fast-paced, high volume work environment
  • Position to sit in Cleveland, OH – no relocation offered

 

Position Criteria:

  • This role could include travel (up to 15%) annually within the US
