Position Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic English Language Teachers to join our public university faculty. You will teach motivated students aged 18–22 in a supportive academic environment with reasonable working hours and generous time off.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging oral English classes (14–16 teaching hours per week, 45 minutes per class)
• No office hours required; weekends off
• Provide after-class support, tutorials, and academic guidance as needed
• Participate in or organize extracurricular activities
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Native or near-native English proficiency
• Passion for teaching and cultural exchange
Compensation & Benefits
Qualification Monthly Salary (Pre-tax)
Bachelor's / Language Teacher ¥10,000 – ¥14,000
Master's Degree ¥12,000
Doctoral Degree ¥14,000
