? Responsible for providing visibility of uploadable product to the wider business, particularly Studio Photography, Distribution, Personal Shopping, Marketing, Public Relations, Buying, Merchandise Planning and Visual Merchandising.
? Using in-house stock management systems, the upload planner creates, allocates to, and manages the Upload lists which determine workload for all teams involved.
? Ensures allocation of product meets criteria to achieve the best variety in offering to the customer, satisfies the business’ financial needs and enhances visual merchandising output.
? Works closely with the Buying and Merchandising teams to effectively manage product both before and after it enters the business, finding efficiencies, cost and time savings, as well as a consistent and timely workflow.
? Serves as the go-to contact for all special product and brand launches and manages the brand launch calendar for the wider business.
? Prioritizes key pieces with the warehouses and studio teams as required for reservations, events and editorial, and ensures that featured products are confirmed.
? Maintains strong awareness of the Buy and important products and categories for the business.
? Pushes new products to the live website and carries out thorough checks before and after publishing.
? Strong relationships with the headquarters and other Studio Photography and Resource Planning teams
? Comfortable working closing with technological improvements and technical teams, collaborating on process enhancements and delivery.
? Manages problematic products in a timely manner, ensuring that lead time from delivery to upload date is as short as possible, and puts plans in place to avoid repetition of issues.
? Tracks and analyzes upload and studio photography metrics to spot inefficiencies and/or opportunities in the upload workflow.
? Raises concern to the appropriate Upload Manager if/when upload objectives are at risk.
?? Challenges the status quo in order to grow and scale the Upload as the business evolves, carrying out and communicating his/her own assignments to enhance processes, systems, training guides and new business developments.
? Regularly attends sales, trade, operations and studio meetings to provide and receive updates on deliveries, uploads and special projects.
? Monthly visits to Charlton distribution center to build and maintain relationships with key operational contacts.
? Flexible work hours – setting uploads live for local market times as needed, bank holiday availability, etc.
