Job Overview
 
Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA), a division of Daimler Corporation, is seeking innovative personnel to join their Uptime Pro Management Applications team in support of Daimler's strategy to enable customers to leverage technology in the care and service of vehicles to increase truck uptime. The Uptime Management Applications team is looking for a person with relevant knowledge or experience in information technology who will be involved in all initiatives while supporting the deployment, management, and support of the suite of applications including mobile, desktop, and those in the cloud. This position will act as a business systems analyst, with some project coordination work, some technical support work, and will communicate heavily with customers/end users, business partners, and third party software vendors.
 
Responsibilities
- Perform business systems analyst and project coordination activities for all Uptime Management applications

- Provide technical support to dealer network for Uptime Pro and drive reported issues to resolution

- Coordinate issue resolution with third party Dealer Management System (DMS) vendors

- Function as business liaison between IT, internal, and external stakeholders

- Develop and maintain critical relationships between DTNA IT and primary dealer network contacts (e.g. CICs, dealership IT staff, dealership management at all levels)

- Write and execute SQL queries and stored procedures in a support and analytics capacity

- Provide reporting to management of issues with key customers

- Maintain relationships with applicable internal business units to facilitate streamlined communication across departments

- Facilitate Knowledge Transfers for new personnel on Uptime Management Applications as needed

- Understand and conform to DTNA data security standards


 

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field from an accredited university/college with 3+ years of IT related experience; OR Masters d egree with 1 year of related experience required.


- Proven communication skills required.


- An attached resume is required


Preferred qualifications 
- Business systems analyst experience preferred.

- Experience with SQL scripts, SQL Management Studio, and stored procedures preferred.

- Experience communicating with users/customers strongly preferred.

- Project coordination experience preferred.

- Experience communicating and coordinating with third party vendors preferred.

- Excel, Powerpoint, Visio preferred.

- Prior work in an Agile software development environment strongly preferred.

- Prior experience with DTNA IT software migration processes preferred.
