The role

We are currently seeking an Urban Designer to join our dynamic team in the Shanghai studio. The successful candidate will have an understanding of the specific components of projects from procurement through to delivery. Skills in concept development and communication are important. This position has the opportunity to collaborate with internal design teams.

About you

• Formal qualification in urban design or landscape architecture or architecture
• Minimum three years’ postgraduate experience with strong design and graphic ability
• Desire to undertake the conceptual and design development stages of urban design/master planning projects in China and Asia
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a track record in innovative urban design outcomes across a range of projects
• Experience of working effectively with team members including other consultants, stakeholders, statutory and non-statutory organisations and contractors
• Experience in preparing and presenting project documents and reports successfully
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strongly self-motivated
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
