Responsibilities:
Support FCIS vision and mission.
Teach all areas of the assigned American curriculum. FCIS utilizes Common Core standards.
Plan, prepare and implement lessons that areconsistent with the curriculumandcaterto the needs of students with varying abilities.
Keep up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
Maintain classroom discipline.
Meet requirements for the assessment and documentation of student development.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ progress.
Engage parents in school programs and Open Days.
Liaise with other professionals, such as learning mentors, careers advisers, education psychologist and education welfare officers, as needed
Participate in and organize extracurricular activities, as needed on a weekly basis.
Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned by the Principal or Board of Directors.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Education or relevant area from an accredited university
Master’s degree preferred
Teaching Certification(s) – TEFL minimum, although this is not an ESL program
Recent graduates will be considered. Applicants without having completed a formal teacher training program must have aminimum of 2 years teaching experience
Successful candidates demonstrate the ability to provide excellent instruction in a growing community and uphold the FCISvision.
