In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be part of the design and development of world-class healthcare informatics and CT scanner products (software and hardware). Lead user research, define and analyze user needs, plan and execute customer facing usability studies and be part of the UX design team.

You are responsible for

• All the activities related to usability engineering of a health care informatics and CT scanner products, in compliance with FDA guidelines and IEC 62366-1 (e.g. task analysis, use error risk analysis, UI requirements and more)

• Planning, executing and reporting global usability studies of the health care products

• Developing new user interfaces and workflow concepts in collaboration with clinical scientists, system engineers, software engineers and evaluating these with clinical users

You are a part of

Global design and usability team, which is part of the Philips Design Organization.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in human factors engineering or interaction design or other relevant academic background

• Experience of usability engineering and interaction design principles of complex systems, e.g., performing and reporting usability tests, creating UI & usability requirements and wireframes

• Ability to write high quality formal documentation for recording the usability activities

• Excellent English, written and verbal

• Good communication and leadership skills

• Willing to travel to customer sites and Philips development sites abroad 2-5 times a year

• Graphic design capabilities will be an advantage

• Experience and understanding of users and processes in a highly regulated industry (healthcare, Military, Aviation etc.)
