User Experience Designer and Information Architect

Job Description

Responsible for planning and conducting a variety of research methods, including interviews, field studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, usability studies, and more. Has a deep knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, along with statistical analysis expertise. Is able to work with teams to evaluate concepts from the early conceptual phase, through low fidelity storyboarding and prototyping, continuing into high fidelity prototypes and products. Enables teams to make decisions based on data and insights. Creates templates and guides for teams to conduct, analyze, and document research findings.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years or 8+ years of experience in Lieu of a degree.
  • 2 or more years of experience with the following skills:
  • Experience with interaction design, responsive design, and user-centered design
  • Experience designing products from scratch is required.
  • Experience with current wireframe and prototyping tools.
  • Candidates should have experience conducting project research including heuristic analysis, gap analysis, analytics audits, and stakeholder interviews.
  • Experience with information architecture usability testing
  • Experience working with a deeply technical team



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of UX/IA industry best practices and market trends are desirable

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
