Lenovo’s User Experience Design (UXD) team is seeking an experienced User Experience Prototyper and 3D Modeler to join their growing team. At Lenovo, the UXD team is responsible for delivering a best-in-class experience across our wide portfolio of products. By applying user-centered design principles, our team ensures the wants, needs, and desires of our users are a part of every product we launch. Your job will be prototyping new interaction concepts and designs. You will be expected to program in Unity, have experience with other AR/VR/MR authoring tools, and be comfortable creating 3D content. You will be expected to generate novel ideas and recommend efficiencies and improvements to existing ideas or processes. You will be working closely with Designers and User Experience professionals in a collaborative environment. We are an international company, so you may need to join calls in off-hours or travel internationally occasionally. In this role, you will be expected to: \- Provide professional assessment of product experience and usability \- Help define the UX for AR/VR/MR products and experiences \- Deliver mockups, wireframes, and prototypes as a part of the design and development process \- Work within design guidelines, but is able and comfortable to operate without restriction \- Expand upon existing guidelines and create new design guidelines, as needed \- Enjoy experimenting with and using new technologies \- Program in Unity and/or other AR/VR/MR/ software \- Create 3D content using 3D tools \- Help conduct both primary and secondary user research to understand our users \- Use ideation and prototyping skills to create new concepts to address the needs and pain points of our users \- Effectively communicate your findings and ideas to the larger design and development organization \- Present deliverables to project and executive stakeholders, ensuring the voice of the user is present at all stages of product development About Lenovo: Lenovo is a $46 billion global Fortune 250 company and leader in providing innovative consumer, commercial and enterprise technology. Come share in the discoveries that are forged from our shared achievements at Lenovo as we drive the next generation in technology. #### Position Requirements: \- 3 to 5+ years of experience working as a user experience prototyper in the AR/VR/MR industry \- Experience with AR/VR/MR programming software, specifically, Unity \- Experience with 3D Design Tools (e.g. Maya, 3D Max, etc.) \- Experience with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud Suite) \- Experience working in an Agile environment \- Portfolio of work illustrating expertise in MR and 3D space.
