Authority Authority to approve feasibility of projects based on data and information Job Summary Work on and drive VAVE projects for LIPE products such as Loadbreak/disconnect Switches, Fuses, Loadbreak/Deadbreak elbows, transformer components. Drive project execution through design, testing and implementation phase. Job Responsibilities Identify and execute cost out projects to drive Value Added Value Engineering (VAVE) Interact with global cross functional teams to perform design and cost out activities. Utilize manufacturing background to drive designs toward manufacturing capabilities Analyze spend data finding out gap for cost out Demonstrates the application of basic Engineering tools/ principles and evidence of creative thinking Ability to prioritize projects to deliver to company’s cost reduction objectives Ability to research new manufacturing processes to deliver cost reduction. Utilize knowledge of metals and plastics to suggest alternative material and provide engineering judgement on the impact on the product from cost, testing and certification perspectives. Identify, communicate risks as they arise during development and work on right mitigation plan Provide timely, accurate, and pertinent information and reports as required by management Lead/support on ideation events Participate in the identification of risks to avoid incident and injuries (I Choose Zero) Follows EBS Ethics, Values and Philosophy. Qualifications #LI-AR7 Qualifications Education level required: Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar from an accredited institution. Years and area of experience required: At least 3 years of professional experience in project leadership or Engineering and/or Product Development Management.
