The VDC Production Supervisor supports the VDC Production Manager by steering the production process to achieve the Vehicle Distribution Center (VDC) yearly wholesale targets of BMW and MINI (and RR) in a timely manner with high efficiency.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Support the management of the prioritization process and survey processes.
• Coordinate, at ground level, daily work relationship with Port Authorities, car handlers and Shipping Lines to ensure smooth flow of vehicles into the facility.
• Review supply information and produce planning information for all sections of the facility,
• Supervise the movement, storage and sorting of units in the port and within facility
• Supervise the operation of Pre Delivery Inspection
• Coordinate processes to ensure that units for wholesale are prioritized and processed on time according to the Regional delivery schedule; meet BMW group quality standards and dealer expectations; and are processed cost efficiently.
• Supervise and execute agreed plans for the work force, regarding time off schedule, processing times, quantity, and quality in all areas of operation and monitor performance and efficiency.
• Coordinate the assignment of headcount to various areas of production and accessory / quick repair areas to ensure achievement of daily objectives.
• Support the implementation of BMW Group recommended procedures and quality standards.
• Motivate and supervise the production area workforce as a group and evaluate individual performance.
• Provide support to the production of time studies.
• Monitor ship arrivals. Compare supply of vehicles to wholesale objectives. Executer the agreed Daily Production Plan and communicate it to all internal sections
