The Role of our BroadMesse Business Development VP
The Business Development VP will work to improve our market position and achieve financial growth. This person will put forward long-term organizational and strategic goals, build key customer relations, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals, and understand market’s current conditions. The Business Development VP will work in a senior sales position within the company. And must work with internal teams, marketing staff and other VPs to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue. To achieve this, he or she will need to find potential new customers, introduce our company’s services to them, and ultimately manage to make them our company’s clients. Thus helping the growth of our business. The Business Development VP will also help manage existing clients and ensure their satisfaction. He or she will contact clients, prepare presentations proposing new solutions and services, and predict the clients’ future demands.

Job Description 职务描述
The primary role of the Business Development VP is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or by any other means of attracting the interest of potential clients. He or she must plan persuasive approaches and pitches to convince potential clients to engage in business with our company. He or she must develop a rapport with new clients, set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve our relations. Also having to retain and maintain existing accounts by presenting new methods and services to those clients. The Business Development VP works with mid and senior level management, marketing and technical staff. He or she will have to supervise the activities of others responsible for developing business. Strategic planning is a key part for this job, since it is the business VP’s responsibility to develop the pipeline for new business. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, strategies, solutions and services the company can provide, and also of the company’s direct competitors.

• Use cold call method if apt within your market or location to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network. 根据市场趋势及区位给客户打电话。加强、维护人脉。
• Identify potential clients and decision makers within their organization. 鉴识新客户及客户公司决策者。
• Research and build relationships with new clients. 接触新客户,加强客户关系管理。

• Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships. 提供推动新产品、服务,增进客户关系。
• Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs. 具有与技师和其他工作组合作能力。
• Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs. 组织参加公司会议复命。

Management and Research 管理及研究
• Submit weekly progress reports and ensure the data is accurate. 每周提交开发报道。确证数据、信息。
• Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system. 将正确信息输入公司系统里。

Education 教育背景:
• 3-4 years Bachelor’s degree. 有关本科学士。
• MBA is preferred. 硕士为主。
• Abroad studies are preferred. 具有在外国教育背景为主。
Qualification Requirements 资历要求:
• Chinese candidate with fluent English or foreign candidate with fluent Chinese. 中国求职者英语熟练。外国求职者汉语水平偏高。
• Experience within Exhibition and/or Events industries with more than 10 years working experience. 具有十年以上在展会活动行业工作经验。
• Experience in managing International and Chinese companies in China. 具有在中国管理中外公司工作经验。
• Experience abroad preferred. 具有在国外工作经验为主。
• Proven developed businesses. 拥有业务开发成就案例。
• Strong Sales and Marketing skills are required. 销售、营销能力强。
