GSP (Global Spread Products) technology is seeking a highly motivated seasoned development lead to join GSP regulatory development team in Jersey City. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a strategic rules engine built for preventative trading controls for ICG Markets as well as other regulatory related projects for GSP and Markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design and lead development of the strategic rules engine (SMaRT) used by Markets for preventative trading control.
• Partner with business stakeholders of GSP and other stakeholders to formulate projects, technology deliverables and roadmap planning.

• Train, mentor and work with developers across multiple global regions to translate business requirements into technically feasible and efficient solutions.

• Cater to the requirements from both business as well as technology clients - offering timely solutions; developing, testing, and implementing these solutions
• Supporting and enhancing the existing infrastructure across a variety of technologies (Java, .Net, Angular, RBDMS, SOA, Flink, Kafka, MongoDB)
• Balancing fast time to market (client delivery) with proper governance, compliance, and audit mandates

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
• Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
• Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Extensive architect and designing experience in developing real time, high volume and low latency solutions.
• Solid Java and server-side development skills.
• Knowledge in Cloud, container, stream processing, Kafka, Angular and .Net is a plus.

• Ability to work closely with teams across the globe for project development and delivery
• Experience working on high-pressure financial industry projects and ability go the extra mile to make an impact to the business users

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
