This position will lead a world-wide distributed engineering team composed of multiple technical groups that develops a leading product in the Electronics Design Automation space. The right candidate should have deep organizational, management and technical skills to ensure the delivery of the highest performance and quality in the market. In addition, the candidate should possess the ability to lead product development and technical direction to satisfy market needs for the most advanced semiconductor technology ,as well as, well-established technology nodes. The candidate will need to be a problem solver able to lead an organization to continue delivering at the top level and enthusiastically address new challenges stemming from competitive situations, including new technology challenges. Job responsibilities: ● Ensure timely product delivery with the highest industry performance and quality ● Drive organizational changes to accomplish business goals Lead technical and software engineering direction to ensure long term product and business leadership ● Forecast resource needs and monitor adherence to plans and budgets ● Develop the next generation of technical leaders Requirements: More than 10 years of management experience including second level management experience in Electronics Design Automation ● Knowledgeable of technology trends and industry proven software engineering practices ● Experience managing world-wide distributed teams Experience interacting with Finance, Legal, Purchasing, Human Resources and other organizations to accomplish technical and business goals ● Proven track record of delivering High quality/High performance software engineering products ● Experience in creating teams, coaching managers and leaders ● Graduate degree on engineering and/or Computer Science Siemens Industry Software Inc. is a technology supplier to the United States Federal Government.
