Responsibilities:
Teach Art within an IPC program to inspire a love of art to primary-age students
 Devise, oversee and promote a wide range of extra-curricular arts activities which add breadth and balanced to the academic curriculum
 Adhere to curriculum timelines, planning ahead of time and meeting due deadlines
Ensure that the art programs enjoy a high profile within the school and the school community.
 
Qualifications:
BA degree (at minimum)
Minimum 2 years’ verifiable subject teaching experience
The delivery of programs of Art respectively will be preferred
Teaching in a mixed-ability classroom, as appropriate
A proven track record of success in the field of art activities will be preferred
The delivery of Art predominantly to Chinese speakers
Ability to organize after-school and extra-curricular activities
Ability to simplify instructions and commands in English, and to allow students to reflect (in English) on their own performance.
 A commitment to challenging students to reach the highest possible standards
 
 
You should be an active learner and a reflective practitioner
 Good communication skills
 An effective team player
Able to learn from other staff members, as well as being able to share your own best practice with other team members
Experience of living and working in a foreign country would be an advantage
Well-organized and administratively efficient Professional, well-spoken and smartly-dressed
