Position Highlights:
The Valet Attendant Shuttle Bus Operator, is responsible for providing shuttle bus services from staff parking lots to staff entrance early am or late pm hours. Valet parking for each customer by parking cars and guiding patients to the Welcome desk. The Valet Attendant Shuttle Bus Operator must anticipate the unique needs of each person and look to exceed their expectations with each interaction.

The Valet Attendant Shuttle Bus Operator must anticipate the unique needs of each person and look to exceed their expectations with each interaction.
Responsibilities:
Operates Maine DOT regulated employee shuttle bus. Completes daily vehicle bus logs. Maintains daily driving, cleaning, refueling and vehicle inspection of the bus.

According to Maine State Law and in a safe manner at all times. Maintains a good driver's record and participates in annual driver safety training.
Courier delivery services to and from outlying practices and buildings. Delivering mail, supplies, medical equipment and more weighing up to 50 lbs.
Safely performs valet services of parking, retrieving, and delivering customer vehicle in accordance with all applicable laws, ordinances and department policies.
Welcomes each customer or patient and facilitates their access to the Medical Center by offering general information, direction and assistance.
Demonstrates strong customer service skills, anticipates customer needs such as opening of car doors, assistance with wheelchairs, holding umbrellas, etc.

The ideal candidate will have:
Current State of Maine Driver’s License required.
1 or more years driving commercial vehicle preferred.
Must be able to operate vehicles with a standard transmission.
Must be able to give direct verbal communication in a friendly and professional manor.
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
High School diploma or GED preferred.
