Validation Specialist (m/f/d) - In-Vitro Diagnostic
based in Jena
Main Responsibilities:
Supports product design verification and clinical validation activities including creation of validation plans, protocols and reports.
Review product needs, user risks (uFMEAs) and system requirements
Design, coordinate, and conduct clinical validation studies for medical devices, analyze and report on data, and present results and findings to multidisciplinary teams
Collaborate with human factors engineering team to conduct validation studies in conjunction with summative studies
Reports and documents observations from user studies, collaborates with the cross functional teams to resolve them and provide input on issues that impact product safety and usability
Provide level of effort estimates for design validation tasks to support planning activities
Provides and maintains traceability between user needs, user risks and validation protocols
Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices; build productive internal/external working relationships
Your Profile:
Master's degree or an equivalent study
Minimum 3 - 5 year experience in a Quality Assurance position preferably in a Medical Device or an IVDR company
Practical experience with implementing ISO:13485/IVDR/ FDA 21 CFR 820 requirements as applied including those incorporating software
Familiarity and experience with the requirements for medical device/IVDR standards including product verification/validation, design control, usability engineering, product lifecycle processes
Proven ability to excel in team environments, and influence change
Expert knowledge of ISO 13485:2016/ 21 CFR 820 through training or actively working in SOP development
Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills
