Accountabilities

Report To Value Access  Senior Manager

Ensure interaction for successful coverage and reimbursement decisions to maximise patient access .

Support Health Technology Assessement (HTAs) with value evidence, adopting Global Value proposition into local value proposition

Initiate local payer/provider interactions with value evidence

Establish Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR)/HTA external KOL network

Provide local HEOR/HTA input to EU HEOR on Global Value Proposition and Global Value Dossier development

Active engagement in health policy changes and discussion in branch organization

Responsibilities

Initiate the most effective and timely strategy to obtain market access for products at country level by managing timely preparation, submission and follow-up of pricing and reimbursement files

Propose and implement the agreed local market access strategy until P&R and during the life cycle of the product by working closely with R&D, Medical, Marketing & Sales to secure broad product access for Amgen new and existing product portfolio

Take leadership of HTAs in the national level in close collaboration with Medical and Marketing colleagues

Anticipate changing payer landscape maintaining deep understanding of payers, including emerging trends that might impact Amgen products

Developing & rolling out an engagement strategy with key payers

Value Evidence Generation in scope of dossiers and publications

Collect local cost data for the customization of CE and BI models

Map local payers and access influencing networks

Develop & roll out an engagement strategy with key payers and other relevant opinion leaders (e.g. advisory boards, stakeholders summit meeting) to support market access activities

Support reimbursement/pricing negotiations with payers

Provide input for local requirements in the international value dossier & payer plan

Keep EU and global colleagues informed about and seek support on all ongoing submissions

Liaise with EU and global colleagues to create a strong relationship and defend and support the affiliate success

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Academic education (Master of Science, MBA or PhD in Economics, Health Services Research)
>5 years experience in a leading pharmaceutical/biotechnology company or related consultancy or within government or HTA body and in the therapeutic area of Oncology/Hematology
Fluency in oral and written English
Experience in communicating complex HEOR issues to non-experts
Solid project management skills for multiple tasks/projects/priorities and complex issues to propose innovative solutions
Strong cross-functional leadership within the organization and ability to drive and influence peers in complex (matrix) organization

Preferred Requirements

Experience in local healthcare environment
Strong Oncology/Hematology background
Documented experience in Franchise area (e.g. Oncology or Nephrology, ..)
