Eaton’s Aerospace Sector, Fuel & Motion Control Systems Division is currently seeking a Value Stream Manager to join our team. This position is based at our North Charleston, SC location. Position Overview: The Value Stream Manager will manage the high-performance work team and coordinate production activities and resources per established practices and/or policies within the job area to ensure the timely delivery of quality parts that meet or exceed customer expectations. In this function you will: Proactively implement, promote, and maintain a safe working environment through diligence in accident. prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance, and policy enforcement. Manage operational process to track and understand key operational metrics and develop action plans to improve operational performance. Partner with supply chain to ensure continuous alignment between demand forecasts and load/capacity plans to optimize schedule execution. Increase employee engagement and accountability to create a high performing culture. Develop and maintain the staffing strategy for the department. Drive continuous improvement programs and process improvements by applying the Eaton Business System and problem-solving tools. Hold dotted line reports accountable through Tier 2 meetings and daily accountability tracking. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of three (3) years in a manufacturing or operations environment. Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience a manufacturing or operations environment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing tools. Experience with quality control techniques and quality systems (e.g. QS 9000, ISO 14001, ISO-9001, AS9100).
