Eaton’s Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Value Stream Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Euclid, OH facility. Position Overview: The Value Stream Manager will be responsible for overseeing and leading all activities associated with manufacturing and production of deliverable product to meet customer expectations. The Value Stream Manager (VSM) will be responsible for the supervision and development of both hourly and salaried resources within their High Performance Work Team (HPWT). The VSM will drive continuous improvement in production, quality and safety while utilizing the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF). In this role, you will: Be responsible for achieving a zero-incident culture by completing and turning in safety observations Escalate any safety concerns to EHS Manager Own CONC Metrics and overall Quality Performance for the HPWT. Direct priorities for the HPWT to achieve Delivery Goals. Own the overall cost of the Value Stream. Set the tone for improvement including idea generation and participation in Site CI initiatives. Train and develop team members as well as provide oversight and coaching to other team members. Provide the vision and strategy. Lead by example – be a positive role model. Actively engage and recognize employees. Empower employees, provide resources and remove barriers for development. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum four (4) years of experience in operations or operations support Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the Euclid, OH facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee Preferred Qualifications: Master of Business Administration Previous Aerospace industry experience Experience managing in a union environment Experience in a machining environment Position Success Criteria: Ability to work rotating weekends and support off-shifts as required.
