As a Value and Policy Manager you will be a primary point of contact for the Market Access and Global Access teams for all activities concerning the study and impact of health policies relevant to our therapeutic areas.

In this role, you will work closely with Global and will be accountable for translating and implementing the Global Policies Strategies across all of our therapy areas, by selecting and adapting the initiatives that best suit the Italian context. This will also allow you to collaborate with Brand Teams for the development of complementary strategies on the medium-long term.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will report into the Head of Value & Access Oncology and will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Brand Teams to identify in the short, medium and long term priorities for public policy initiatives affecting our strategic objectives and share best practices from other markets or business in the health care
  • Identifying and propose a Policy initiatives plan integrated with other initiatives (V&A, communication, patient advocacy, medical, etc)
  • Carrying out research, either individually or as part of a team, to identify and understand the current public policy positions of various organisations and institutions, including governments, and how these may affect brands within a specific brand portfolio
  • Designing or assessing and adapting to our market policy projects/initiatives or identifying and developing them as part of main AstraZeneca initiatives (e.g. international projects Precision, Lung Ambition, ACT, etc..) 
  • Coordinating the therapeutic area policy team interaction with the market and shape information/practices with other countries
  • Managing all activities and Account relationship according with Company Values, Code of Conduct, Guidelines/Internal procedures and Italian legislation

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Science, Economics or Finance)
  • Advanced degree
  • Previous role in Market Access, Policy or Public Affairs
  • Working knowledge of Pricing Strategy and Managed Care impact
  • Familiarity with operating in Global business
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English
