Job Description

Manage vendor relations and co-create vendor strategy. Provide outsourcing solutions to Operations and keep on top of supplier market trends. Act as back-up of Team Lead, Vendor Relations Management in certain matters.              

 

Main responsibilities

 

1 Identify, qualify, contract and develop vendor solutions based on Production/VRM/MLS/Sales requirements, and in alignment with Moravia's business requirements and strategic direction for each allocated account & in alignment with the strategy set by Senior Manager, Vendor relations

 

2 Test and qualify resources in cooperation with MLS for each allocated account & define the best workflow for supplier qualification for given account, together with Team Lead

 

3 Make sure Operations and each allocated account is provided with the best possible outsourcing solutions considering price, quality, availability and service. Make sure this is regularly reviewed, the solution is evolving and if circumstances require it, suppliers need to be replaced (i.e. with suppliers providing better rates).

 

4 Negotiate suppliers´ rates on project basis for each allocated account and in line with industry standards & minimum market rates

 

5 Ensure all required information is entered into information systems and make sure they are always up-to date with current partner details

 

6 Communicate/directly interact with suppliers, answer queries, provide support if needed

 

7 Act as the first escalation point for internal customers in Moravia and for Business Partners/suppliers

 

8 Collaborate to define the supply chain strategy along with MLS, and apply the general strategy of the account(s). The Strategy as defined by Senior Manager, Vendor Relations, in collaboration with PD

 

9 Build lasting relationships with our key partners in alignment with Moravia's strategic direction    Build suitable partner strategies for the assigned accounts, work on building successions plans, risk mitigation and a solid net of back-up, build the pipeline

 

10 Track performance of partner solutions and implement corrective actions when appropriate with quality managers    Submits & suggest supplier development plans to Team Lead

 

11 Co-operate with Sales, MLS and Ops to clearly understand the existing and future partner requirements 

 

12 Provide guidance and consultancy to PMs and MLS to ensure Operations use most suitable vendor solution In line with strategy defined by Senior Manger, Vendor relations

 

13 Analyze volume data per account(s), language and vendor on a regular basis   Draw conclusions and AIs from analyses & report hem to TL/SM, VR

 

14 Review and report on financial results related to external costs on each allocated account & set strategies accordingly

 

15 Keep up to date with local market trends relevant to the locales of interest. 

 

16 Build efficient and effective working processes and systems in line with the company strategy

 

17 Participate in the strategic planning of the Business Partner Group and/or designated account(s)

 

18 Negotiate discounts with suppliers as needed on allocated account(s) on yearly and/or project basis, unless volumes discounts negotiated centrally by GVRM

 

19 Perform monthly business/account review meetings with MLS on each allocated account 

 

20 Report to TL/SVRM on a weekly basis and/or whenever scheduled by the TL/SVRM
