What You'll Do

As a supplier / vendor manager in our Supply Chain Management team you will:

• You will be a bridge between external tier 1 &2 vendors, production operations and product development stakeholders.
• Manage production related approved vendor list (AVL).
• Support the establishment and maintain standards and guidelines for vendor, vendor management, their monitoring and assessment; and ensure compliance to the policies.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors by frequent communication ensuring questions are answered and satisfaction levels remain strong.
• Research and identify new suppliers as well as qualifying them for our AVL.
• Pro-actively manage supplier related issues, risks and escalation to ensure steady and reliable material flow and production.
• Improve the quality in our tier 2 supply chain.
• Provide support in the quotation and cost optimisation process, and maintain a competitive price list.

What You'll Bring

• Strong working experience in a consumer and / or electronic products mass production related field.
• Strong working experience in managing multiple 2 suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Good understanding of manufacturing techniques such as (injection) moulding, machining, forming etc.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Business fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
