The role 

We are looking for an outstanding People & Talent Business Partner to support our Sydney- based team in an HR Business Partnering role. Reporting to the Head of People & Talent, you will work closely with dedicated venture cohorts to provide strategic and tactical advice to drive the success of the Sydney office. You will work across all facets of HR, providing generalist advice and support and driving strategic HR projects across the employee life cycle. With your strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as your ability to identify and support business needs, you will be a key member of our People & Talent team.

As a People & Talent Business Partner you will use your skills to:

As a People & Talent Business Partner you will need:

• Degree level qualification in HR, business or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years generalist HR experience (in the fields of performance management, project management, capacity management, career development or coaching and HR administration)
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment (e.g. startup, agency, tech company) and a commercial mindset
• Pro-activeness, ability to take initiative, and comfort working independently to drive toward results
• Outstanding communication and organisational skills
• Strong interpersonal and teaming skills, empathy and ability to build rapport
• Initiative and the ability to recognize opportunities for improvement
• Service orientation and responsiveness to business needs
