As Design Verification Engineer you will join the Custom Logic ASIC Engineering team within the DCAI (Data Center Artificial Intelligence) division and become part of the VLSI design team to develop digital IPs used in Intel's family of wireless communications SoC.
You will work not only with other verification engineers but with designers, integration experts, architects, firmware engineers, and others to take projects from concept to PRQ, crossing boundaries between disciplines and organizations to help ensure Intel's success in the rapidly growing Cloud and A.I. Computing domain.
Additionally in this role you will:
Develop pre-silicon functional validation tests to verify system will meet design requirements.
Create test plans for RTL validation, defining and running system simulation models, and finding and implementing corrective measures for failing RTL tests.
Analyze and uses results to modify testing.
Qualifications
Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience, experience should include:
Experience in RTL level Digital IC Design using System Verilog and SV verification methodology (OVM/UVM).
Experience with architecting verification environments and components, random traffic generators, coverage-based validation and debug.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following is considered a plus:
10+ years of industry experience.
Experience with wireless L1 protocol, DMA, AMBA, IOSF bus protocol.
