Are you a Verification Engineer with a keen interest in software and medical devices? Siemens Healthineers are adding to our multi skilled Engineering Team. The role involves working on a wide range of software projects mostly related to instruments. The incumbent must be able to work in a highly regulated environment with proven experience in leading verification activities for complex software projects. Including analysis of testing needs from requirements, detailed design specifications, test design, test case development, implementation, reporting and defect investigation. You will be part of a fast grown highly innovative Engineering team working on complex medical device instruments including immunoassay, chemistry, and hematology to serve the needs of laboratories of any size – today and tomorrow. The Skill set we are looking for Proven experience In Software Verification in a similar role Manual test design and implementation Complex defect investigation Planning verification activities within the overall software project Scripting languages a significant advantage Proven ability to deliver high quality verification documentation in a highly regulated environment Ability to integrate with software developers and the wider engineering team to ensure complete test coverage. Experience with Azure devops / GitLab or other SW tracking and control tools. Must have good computer skills in operating computer software. Excellent computer hardware knowledge would be an advantage. Experience in other roles within the software lifecycle including requirements generation an advantage Experience in design and creation of automated test cases an advantage The personality we are looking for An excellent team player knows how to work in a team environment. Excellent communications skills - written and verbal skills are a must. Someone who shows initiative and is creative with a clear vision to what is needed. Can give clear feedback to engineering team to improve software. Has excellent attention to detail, taking on the role of the customer. Must have excellent time management skills. Required Qualification and Experience Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Electronics / Software / Electrical / Mechatronic, Engineering) Other disciplines will be considered if balanced by relevant experience. 5 years software verification engineering experience.
