ABB Drives is a pioneering technology leader, providing products and solutions to help our customers maximize productivity, safety and energy efficiency, with a focus on reducing impact on the environment. As a member of Drives R&D department, you will be reporting to the R&D verification team leader.

Your responsibilities

• Compiling of test-case specifications, building up the test setup, implementing test cases, including emission and immunity.
• Tracking and analyzing testing, solving the problem encountered in the test process.
• Writing the test reports in English language.
• Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

• Must have a bachelor’s degree or above in electrical/power automation related major, Electrical/Electronic Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant field, understanding of EMC standard (Emission, ESD, Surge etc.) and basic analog and digital circuit design.
• Experience of working in laboratory with EMC equipment (Receiver etc) and in laboratory with common electrical / electronic measuring equipment (oscilloscope etc.).
• Organizational and technical documentation skills required.
• Must be proactive and be able to work independently.
• Must have good communication and presentation skills, good team working.
• Good English communications (both verbal and written) required.
• Experience of certification (CE etc.) and understanding of AC Drive technology, ABB drive product are preferred.
