ABB Drives is a pioneering technology leader, providing products and solutions to help our customers maximize productivity, safety and energy efficiency, with a focus on reducing impact on the environment. As a member of Drives R&D department, you will be reporting to the R&D verification team leader.

Your responsibilities

• Compiling of testing plans and testing-case specifications, coordinating with design team.
• Building up the test setup, implementing test cases.
• Tracking and analyzing testing, solving the problem encountered in the test process.
• Writing the test reports in English language required.

Your background

• Must have bachelor’s degree or above in electrical/power automation related major, Electrical/Electronic or Automation Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience, with exposure of working in laboratory with common electrical / electronic measuring equipment (oscilloscope etc.).
• Understanding of AC Drive technology, ABB drive product is preferred.
• Understanding of drive standard, e.g. IEC61800-5-1
• Organizational and technical documentation skills, proactive attitude and ability to work independently required.
• Skills like good communication and presentation, good team working, good English communications (both verbal and written) required.
• Experience of certification of AC drive (CE, UL etc.), automation testing are preferred.
• Preferred to have team management as well as programming experience.
