Veterinary District Manager – Brooklyn/Queens, NY

To drive accelerated growth in the Veterinary Business Pillar by achieving strategic goals through making direct calls on Veterinary Clinics and identifying opportunities which develop new business and stronger partnerships.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Veterinary Science is strongly preferred.
• B2B Outside sales experience
• Proven experience in building strong customer relationships.
• Demonstration of excellent verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills.
• Strong proficiency in using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel 40 – 60%

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Achieve profitable sales growth objectives within assigned territory.
• Utilize strong selling skills in order to develop and understand customer needs and build business development plans that grow our mutual business.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with all stakeholders within the clinic.
• Identify potential clinics and set strategies to align customers for recommending Royal Canin diets as their primary therapeutic diet for their clients/patients.
• Identify opportunities and strategies to develop new business within existing customers.
• Develop a strong understanding of trends in veterinary practice management and provide insights to customers to improve productivity.
• Develop and maintain a high technical competency for Royal Canin diets as well as competitive therapeutic diets.
