Responsibilities

• Work closely with PM to perform credit analysis and risk assessment as well as communicate credit opinions and investment recommendations to the team
• Carry out in-depth credit analysis, develop and maintain internal rating system by sectors mainly for Chinese issuers
• Generate trade ideas and deliver best execution in compliance with internal and external control measures
• Design and develop customized asset management products
• Prepare reports in line with clients’ requirement
• Responsible for preparing pitch books for potential clients and support regular research updates to existing clients
• Develop relationships and partnerships with the broker/dealer community. Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships

Requirements

• Master Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines
• Professional qualifications (e.g. CFA/FRM) is an advantage
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in credit analysis / portfolio management
• Proficiency in MS offices and Bloomberg, capable of building quantitative models with Excel or other software
• Solid understanding of Kongfu bond markets including in-depth knowledge of credit market dynamics and individual names
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills with good command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin
