Position Overview: Eaton Corporation’s Aerospace Group is seeking a Vice President IT Business Relationship Management (BRM). This person will report directly to the Senior Vice President IT & BRM and functionally to the President of the Aerospace Group. This position will be based in either Cleveland, OH, Irvine, CA or Jackson, MI. The Vice President IT will partner with the President of the Aerospace Group and will be responsible for the BRM leadership of the Filtration and Golf Pride businesses as part of the Eaton Aerospace Segment. This partnership role is essential to ensure delivery of the key technology components, products and systems to enable achievement of key strategic initiatives for the businesses. The BRM will align the IT strategies with the business strategies, developing associated initiative, product roadmaps and priorities accordingly. The VP will also partner and align digitalization roadmaps and priorities with the enterprise IT Value Chains and product teams to effectively manage the business IT portfolio and associated budgets. Key responsibilities also include: identifying and assessing innovative opportunities, driving utilization and adoption of IT solutions, reviewing IT performance metrics, and executing continuous improvement and cost out measures with the business. The position is also expected to provide emerging technology briefings and executive coaching on digital transformation to business partners. Essential Responsibilities: Aligns the Aerospace Group and Filtration and Golf Pride strategic plan, resource plan, and applications roadmaps with the Industrial and Enterprise IT strategic plans Leads business transformation and growth through the development and support of innovative and cost-effective technology solutions while reducing technology debt Promotes technology innovation by identifying and researching new and relevant technologies to support the vision and objectives of the business Establishes, plan, and administer the overall policies and goals for the information technology team, deliver timely results, and hold team members accountable Budget, track and forecast spend, evaluate new technologies, and development efforts (influence build vs. buy decisions, and hosted vs. on-prem vs. hybrid solutions) including governance of IT spend on behalf of customer groups. Provides leadership to ensure infrastructure, application development and support teams work collaboratively with business teams ensuring architecture, security standards, tracking metrics and continuous improvement standards are met Ensure Sector / business alignment with IT strategy and IT guiding principles Establish Sector / business priorities & communicate within IT Ensure IT alignment with customer strategy as the customer advocate Position Criteria: Advanced understanding of the business or functional Strategic Plan and process Advanced to SME understanding of some of the business processes at Eaton or a prior Company Intermediate to advanced understanding of financial processes Advanced understanding of business industry trends and applicability to operations or functions Advanced to SME understanding of some of Eaton key applications Advanced to SME understanding of integration and impact points of involved systems globally for a division or function Proven experiencing of exhibiting a digital mindset through fostering agility and innovation.
