Eaton Corporation’s North America Electrical Sales Division has an opening for a Vice President of Channel Sales and Marketing. This is a remote role. The Vice President of Channel Sales and Marketing will set the strategic vision and provide leadership for the NAS Regional Channel Director team and the Channel Marketing team. This this role will develop a focused regional strategy for key channel partners that support all divisions in the Eaton Electrical Sector and provide that vision to a team of Regional, Digital and Enablement Channel Leaders in their aligning areas of responsibilities. The incumbent will work closely with North American Sales and product division leadership to maximize profitable growth, marketing efforts, drive digital initiatives and overall business Enablement tools to improve efficiencies and wallet share within our Channel partners. This role will also help to develop, communicate, and manage specific Channel marketing initiatives, including Digital, with the Channel Marketing and communication team. Key responsibilities of the Senior Director - Channel Sales and Marketing role include: Direct all key Channel account sales activities to achieve performance goals in accordance with marketing and sales plans. This is accomplished through the leadership of Regional, Digital, Enablement and Marketing Channel Leaders. Build executive relationships with key channel partners to enhance sales volume, customer experience and mindshare of the Eaton Brand. Provide input and direction into the channel strategic plan, its ongoing evolution, acquisition activities, and communication strategies Foster the development and deployment of broad-based marketing programs to enable Eaton’s channel with growth-oriented resources, inclusive of digital marketing and integration initiatives. Work closely with product division commercial marketing leads to develop/deploy their specific product growth needs and programming resources across our channel. Functionally oversee the DSR organization's strategy activities, KPIs and provide enablement tools/resources so Eaton’s channel partners are supported in a consistent way across the US. Manages and reviews Channel associations with VP of Channel where needed (NAEDs, AHTD.Etc..) Qualifications Basic Qualifications 7 years of experience in Sales 5 years of experience in Marketing or Product Line Management Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree Preferred Preferred Qualifications Prior people management experience is preferred Strong understanding of business fundamentals and financials. Ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels Product knowledge, market knowledge and established customer relationships Understanding of competitors’ strategies, technologies, and capabilities Presentation skills, interpersonal skills, and team building.
