The Role
The VP of Digital Offerings will drive the development of digital offerings for our markets in Life Sciences along with the go to market strategy and sales execution.
You will work with the product development teams to ensure that necessary functionality to support digital offerings is included on product roadmaps and developed on schedule. You will be responsible for developing and executing go to market strategy for all RI digital offerings and will work in conjunction with RI Marketing to develop collateral materials and campaigns. You will work with sales and marketing to identify top customer targets and lead the sales effort for digital offerings to those targeted customers.
Primary Responsibilities
* You will be the main interface between RI and the product development teams for Digital Offering functionality and road maps
* You will provide leadership on marketing and sales strategy for digital offerings
* You will be the "outward facing" evangelist for RI digital offerings at tradeshows, speaking opportunities and key customer meetings
* You will work with the SVP of Sales and Regional VP’s of Sales to assist the sales team in developing pipelines for our digital offerings and help the sales team move digital offering opportunities through the sales process to successful close.
Desired Skills and Competencies
* Deep expertise in the Life Science Industry including Clinical, Regulatory, eCOA and Linguistic Validation
* Highly motivated to drive results and win deals
* Ability to create buzz and excitement in the market
* Ability to understand the complex business needs of RI customers and to align RWS technology and services into digital offerings to meet those needs
* Minimum 10 years experience selling translation and related technology solutions to the above mentioned areas
* Excellent sales skills
* Excellent collaboration skills and proven success working with teams that don’t report directly to you.
* Engaging and motivating leadership style that generates results.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills.
* Demonstrable problem-solving skills with the ability to facilitate problem solving discussions.
