Rizhao is 1hr by car South of Qingdao, it also has its own airport that connects to all major cities in China.

Role Overview: You will be responsible for academic and some admin based duties on the Rizhao campus. Your director supervisors are the Co-Principals at the Qingdao campus. While you formal title will be Vice- Principal, you will be in charge of daily operation of the Rizhao campus. Due to work/diary commitments, the Co-Principals come to Rizhao quite infrequently so you will need to be confident in the management of your campus however will have excellent remote support from the Co-Principals and the Group. There is potential for promotion to Principal.

Requirements

• Must hold teaching qualifications at the primary level. A post graduate degree in education or school administration is an advantage;
• A minimum 5 years of successful teaching and 2 years in a middle management post;
• Evidence of successful curriculum leadership and development;
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, personal characteristics and communication skills necessary for working effectively with students, staff, parents, management teams, and the community;
• Ability to promote the school's aims, objectives, core values and policies and a commitment to the ethos of the Foundation;
• Ability to motivate staff
• Ability to work under pressure
• Commitment to teamwork
